| come up with | idear, proponer | She came up with a great idea. |
| figure out | averiguar, resolver | We need to figure out the problem. |

| catch up | ponerse al día | Let's catch up next week. |
| log in / log out | iniciar / cerrar sesión | I can't log in to the platform. |
1. "The client hasn't replied. I'll ___ tomorrow."
Follow up = dar seguimiento. Call off es cancelar y turn down, rechazar.

Reuniones y videollamadas
- Opinar: In my opinion, we should focus on the north region.
- Acordar: I agree with you on that. / That's a good point.
- Discrepar con cortesía: I see your point, but I'm not sure that will work.
- Interrumpir: Sorry to interrupt, but could I add something?
- Pedir que repitan: Sorry, could you say that again? / Could you speak a bit more slowly?
- Comprobar: Just to clarify, do you mean the budget for next year?
- Problemas técnicos: You're on mute. / I think you froze. / Can you see my screen?
La entrevista de trabajo: 4 preguntas clave
- Tell me about yourself. — Presente (quién eres) + present perfect (experiencia y logros) + futuro (qué buscas). Lo practicaste en la lección 9.
- What are your strengths? — Dos fortalezas con un ejemplo concreto en pasado: I'm very organized. In my last job, I managed 30 clients at the same time and never missed a deadline.
- Tell me about a challenge you faced. — Método STAR en pasado: situación, tarea, acción y resultado.
- Why do you want to work here? — Conecta la empresa con tu plan: I'd love to work here because… If I joined your team, I would…
Sorry, could you say that again? es cortés y natural. Recuerda: could suaviza cualquier petición.
"I wait your answer" es una traducción literal incorrecta: se diría I look forward to your reply.
- ¿Tus peticiones usan could o would?
- ¿Conectaste ideas con however, although, as a result?
- ¿Evitaste actually cuando querías decir "actualmente"?
Resumen: lo que ya dominas
- Básico: pronunciación, to be, presente simple, preguntas, números, hora y fechas.
- Intermedio: presente continuo, pasado simple, futuro, comparativos y modales.
- Avanzado: present perfect, condicionales, voz pasiva, estilo indirecto e inglés profesional.
